James’s debut novel, the time travel romance “Time and Forever,” made me a fan. So, I was excited to read “Irish Magic” and enjoyed every minute of it. Irish Magic is a light, contemporary romance with leprechauns and fae in the mix. The heroine’s wish for a real life man to inspire the fictional romance hero she’s writing sets the leprechaun community in motion granting her wish, one even escorting her from New York to Ireland to ensure the job gets done. She and her hero have been badly burned by love, but can’t seem to stop running into each other on the Emerald Isle, where fairies and leprechauns definitely exist.
💖 I loved the detail-rich journey to Ireland, which I’ve never had the pleasure of visiting. James’ writing is light and charming, just like the appealing characters and rom com plot. Highly recommend to contemporary romance fans who enjoy a sprinkle of fairy dust on their reading fare. 💖
